One Guy Pizza

One of the best pizzas I've eaten! We were in town for a wedding and we were hungry after! Luckily Yelp led us to this place and I was so glad to find them.. If you're gonna eat a pizza, eat one made by a real Italian from New York !! These guys know what they are doing, you won't be disappointed.. We ordered a grilled chicken with tomatoes & basil, it was soooo delicious!!

I don't recall having any issues with my food here. I was by myself and was in Lubbock for a concert at the Cactus Theatre. Had some extra time to do a couple of restaurants and the Buddy Holly statue. I would recommend.

Haven't been back since the 90s in college. Still the best calzone I've ever eaten. Its ruined me for having them anywhere else. And they taste just the same after all these years. So glad to visit again. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. TTU tradition.

Great New York style pies. This is a local place that's been around for over 30 years. I just happened to stumble upon it one afternoon. It's right across the street from Texas Tech University. Easily one of my favorites for pizza. So good in fact that I make the hour and a half trip from home to visit.

Super Cool Guys (not just one 😅) that work there! Service was Friendly/professional & staff was Welcoming. Loved the Pizza, Salad, Calamari!

Super fast, friendly staff and AMAZING food.

I drove 330 miles just for one calzone and it's worth it. For top notch Italian food and great service, it's dirt cheap. The portions are so big bring a friend and split it. If you are in Lubbock you NEED to stop in, you'll be talking about it for a month. I just wish I got more to go

If you like lots of meat on your pizza, this is the place for you. The calzones are superb as well.Very likely the best pizza in town.

This place has the Best Calzone I have ever tasted! I went because Day Tripper says it has the best Calzone in Texas and he was right!!

If you haven’t tried the House Calzone here, what are you doing with your life? The pizza here is really superb and I always order a side of fries to complement. Staff have good humor and they are always in a good mood. Good space and would highly recommend to eat here during lunch time.

Ok, I am always right..... One Guy From Italy crafts the best pizza in the world. This restaurant is locally owned and operated and they take the quality of their product seriously. I’ve been going there since 1995, almost on a weekly basis, and I swear their pizza is like a fine wine; It gets better with time. Their Italian sausage pizza and calzones are mouth watering! Tastes so good, makes ya wanna slap yo mamma! Thank you Jerry, Dario, and Joe for being a part of my life.

The best part of the calzone is the perfect dough, which is neither too crusty nor underdone. The filing was good but I wish it had more sauce or at least some to dip on the side. Make sure to order ahead if you're not getting the house calzone, mine took almost 25 minutes to make.

The food is good. I've tried the pasta and calzone and both were good, not great. Pretty much all the food is heavy though. Looking forward to having pizza sometime

Some of the best pizza in town. One Guys sells New York style pizza. You can get a whole pie or order by the slice. The calzones are also very good. The prices are great for the quality of the food. You can tell that a lot of care and pride goes into their dishes. The staff is always wonderful and friendly. This is one of my go to locations, I will absolutely continue supporting their business. 10/10 would pizza again. 🍕

Delicious, although greasy(can be expected with Italian), food. Great value for the price, as well as location. I recommend the calzones...as would most everyone else I’ve met. You will not be let down, and probably have left overs for a tasty second meal.

I've been coming here for years and the pizza and calzones always delicious. I LOVE CONSISTENCY! However the service my last visit was disappointing. Usually the guys working behind the counter are friendly. Last week, a woman cashier snapped at me while I was waiting for my order. I was watching the TV in the corner and did not realize I was blocking the next guest from checking out. Then she barked at me to throw my own receipt away because they are "not allowed to throw receipts away" Really its not a big deal, we all have our bad days, but don't take it out on guest hon!

I'm honestly not sure if I've ever gotten anything besides the calzone, because the calzone is incredible. I've heard everything else is good, and maybe I'll venture away from the heavenly calzone some day. Some day... Never a bad day to have One Guys Pizza!

I have not been here in 25 years. Pizza is still some of the best there is! New store is across from where the old one was. My kids loved it as much as I did and they have different a lot of time in New York Chicago! Great place to bring back college memories.

We have our regular places to eat in Lubbock. Today we found a new regular place. This place was incredible. The calzone was amazing. I am usually not a calzone guy, but since we were not splitting a pizza I decided what the heck. I am glad I did. The Calzone was incredible. The staff was very friendly. Food was out almost faster than the three of us could fix fountain drinks. They are located in the corner across from Texas Tech main entrance off of Broadway and university. They have things down to an incredible art for fast service when they are incredibly busy, like during lunch or game days. We will be back. If your thinking about going, do it! You will not be wrong.

Had the calzones, not bad but maybe should have gotten some marinara on the side and I felt they needed more sauce. Friendly service.

Very good pizza and service. My first visit to Lubbock and some college students suggested it. Nice atmosphere with plenty of the Dallas Cowboys memorabilia. Actually had leftovers for breakfast.

No wait when we came in. Friendly and helpful employees. So many good choices and styles. Pizza, sandwiches and calzones. Decided on calzones. Absolutely delicious! So much meat and cheese. Mozzarella seeping out. Super hot and fresh. Refillable drinks. Dessert case looks great. Chocolate cake and cheesecake. Place is cozy and clean. Would highly recommend.

Out of 5Service 4.5Pizza Slice 2.3First time visit for lunch. Service was good. I ordered the $7 lunch special (Two slices and a fountain drink). One slice pepperoni and one slice cheese. I wouldn’t say the crust was thick, but it was still too bready for me. The taste of bread overwhelmed each bite. I would say this pizza tasted pretty basic. I prefer to have more flavor from the crust and sauce. I would visit again, but will order only one slice next time.

So out of all the pizza restaurants in Lubbock I think they have the best pizza. The pizza makers are always friendly and helpful as for the staff I think they are not very polite. I like to go to a place and be glad I spent my money there but the staff always leaves me with a bad tase in my mouth and questioning my decision.One Guys pizza has a lot of toppings and plenty of cheese. I have never gotten a bad pizza from this location. Their Stromboli’s are huge. These guys have been in Lubbock for a very long time.

Awesome pizza place! The calzone was the best to me. Very crispy and the sausage on both the pizza and calzone taste different from other places. I wonder if it's home made from them. You got to try it. That was my first time there and my families 2nd time. They want to go back soon again for more calzone.

When my parents were in college at Texas tech in the 90s, this was the only place my dad could really afford to take my mom on dates. Now, every time they come to lubbock, they take home 2 calzones to Waco. They said in all that time, the great quality hasn't changed. I absolutely love their house calzones, and nowadays, me and my boyfriend get calzones for dates here too.

Calzone is good. Lots of cheese so if cheese and bread is your thing, you will love these.
